For increased transparency and crediblity we worked with Dermatest, a German company that has been in business since 1978 and provides internationally accepted dermatological test procedures to the cosmetic industry. While we were extremely cautious with the the quality and purity of ingredients that go into the products, we also wanted to make sure that the resulting product really works the way we intended.
All products were tested and found to be hypo-allergenic.
"The dermatological-allergological test performed by us on your product under the control of dermatological specialists was passed by this product with the rating, "very good". This product did not lead to allergic or toxic-irritative intolerance reactions in epicutaneous testing in accordance with international guidelines. The tolerance of this product can therefore be assessed as very good"
The Edelweiss Anti-Aging Cream was tested for dermatological tolerance and wrinkle reduction by using optical 3D measurements with high-precision area identification.
Results:
"20 test subjects in all tolerated the above mentioned preparation CRÈME EDELWEISS ANTI-AGEING without problems according to dermatological clinical criteria in an four-week test (application in the morning and in the evening). There were no instances at all of undesirable changes, and certainly no pathological ones, to the skin in the test area.
The extended optical 3D-measurements of the surface of the skin with determination of the roughness of the skin in accordance with DIN 4768 ff showed after 4 weeks of application an average improvement in the roughness of the skin of 22.27%."
And:
"In summary, it can be concluded from a dermatological point of view that Preparation CRÈME EDELWEISS ANTI-AGEING was tolerated very well by clinical dermatological criteria and led to a significant improvement in the roughness of the skin as defined by DIN Standard 4768 ff. The average improvement in roughness of the skin after 4 weeks of application was 22.27%."
The Edelweiss Anti-Aging Serum underwent the same test as the Cream, with the only difference being that the application area was defined as being the skin area around the eye.
Result: 24.06% reduction in roughness of the skin.
